#Why do small teams pick Chirpoo?
You can see the price. Chirpoo publishes ₹999 a month, ₹1,499 with Commerce, and ₹250 for each extra number or login, all excluding 18% GST. You can work out your bill before you talk to anyone. With DoubleTick, you cannot do that from the pricing page, because it names plans but does not show prices.
You can try it first. Chirpoo gives 14 days with every feature and no card. Your team can connect a number, handle real chats and test a flow before paying. DoubleTick says it does not offer a free trial and offers a demo with its team.
You keep your data. Your WhatsApp number stays yours, the code underneath is open source under Apache-2.0 as WhaLeads, and your contacts and chats are readable through the API until you close, with a full export on request.
It fits the size of the team. Five logins and one number are included, so a three-to-five person team does not pay per head. A small team that wants to open an inbox today is better served by a plan it can read, price and trial.

#What does DoubleTick charge in total?
This cannot be worked out from public information. DoubleTick's pricing page shows no rupee prices, no user limits and no messaging rates. It also describes costs in per conversation terms, while Meta now charges per message by category. Meta's own model is on its pricing page, explained in the pricing guide.
So here is what you can price on the Chirpoo side, and what to ask DoubleTick for.
For a team with two WhatsApp numbers and seven logins, Chirpoo costs ₹999 plus ₹250 for the extra number plus ₹500 for two extra logins. That is ₹1,749 a month, excluding 18% GST. Meta's message charges are billed by Meta directly to you.
Ask DoubleTick for these in writing: the monthly price per plan, the number of users and numbers included, the rate per marketing, utility and service message, whether it differs from Meta's, what happens to your data if you leave, and the price of AI usage. The pricing page says AI usage beyond the plan draws from a wallet that you top up, but it does not state the rates.
#How do you move from DoubleTick to Chirpoo?
Check who owns your WhatsApp Business Account. If it is yours, the number, approved templates and quality rating stay with it. Contacts arrive from Shopify sync and inbound chats, or add them through the Chirpoo API; consent comes from Shopify's WhatsApp consent or the customer's own START. Chirpoo can bring in approved templates from your previous provider. Chat history and bot flows do not travel, so rebuild the flows you use, with a test run before they go live.
There is no dedicated DoubleTick migration post yet. The method is the same one in migrating from WATI to Chirpoo, and the post on moving from the WhatsApp Business app covers the number side. Ask DoubleTick how it exports contacts and chats, since this is not published on its pricing page.
