Best WhatsApp Inbox Tools for Small Teams in India

The best WhatsApp inbox tools for a small Indian team are the ones that publish a clear price, include enough logins and leave Meta's charges with Meta. Chirpoo leads that list at ₹999 a month with one number and five logins. Interakt, WATI, AiSensy, Gallabox, DoubleTick, Zoko and respond.io follow, each judged on its own pricing page.

#How were these WhatsApp inbox tools ranked?

Four questions decide the order, because they are the ones that change a small team's monthly bill:

  1. What does the first useful plan cost in rupees?
  2. How many team logins and WhatsApp numbers does that price include?
  3. Who bills Meta's per-message charges, and is any markup shown?
  4. What sits behind a higher plan or an add-on?

Every figure below comes from the vendor's own pricing page, checked 26 Oct 2026. Where a page does not show something, this post says "not published". Prices change often, so confirm on the vendor's page before you pay.

On question three, the rule is set by Meta. For a Tech Provider setup, Meta's documentation says:

Instead, clients onboarded by Tech Providers must provide their own payment method after onboarding is complete.

Chirpoo runs on that model through WhaBuzz. You pay Meta directly, and Chirpoo adds nothing per message.

#Why is Chirpoo first for a small team?

Chirpoo costs ₹999 a month, excluding 18% GST. That price includes the shared inbox, flows, broadcasts, templates, the AI agent, ad attribution, the API and the MCP server. It also includes one WhatsApp number and five team logins. An extra number or login is ₹250 a month.

Chirpoo Commerce is ₹1,499 a month and adds the Shopify store messages and chat button. Billing is in rupees by invoice link, with no auto-debit, and the trial is 14 days with every feature and no card.

Nothing important is hidden behind a higher tier. The AI agent, flows and API are in the base plan. Meta's charges go from your Meta account to Meta, so your WhatsApp bill is Meta's rate card and nothing more. Read the full Chirpoo pricing before you compare.

#How do the other WhatsApp inbox tools compare?

Here is each tool on the four questions. Chirpoo is the first row.

Interakt's page says "Total Monthly WhatsApp Billing = Subscription Charges based on your plan + Template charges above free limit", so template charges sit inside its billing.

#What are the hidden costs on each pricing page?

Three patterns show up across the table.

Rupee plans start higher. The Indian-rupee plans from Interakt, WATI and Gallabox start between ₹2,699 and ₹2,999 a month before message charges. AiSensy starts at ₹1,500, then charges ₹2,500 a month for its chatbot builder and ₹1,350 for its AI agent. Chirpoo includes the inbox, flows and AI agent at ₹999.

Logins are the quiet cost. WATI's Growth plan has three users and the page says "No additional users". Gallabox calls its Basic limit "3 (hard cap)". On a five-person gym or store team, that is a forced upgrade. Chirpoo includes five.

Dollar prices add exchange risk. Zoko and respond.io bill in dollars. Zoko's Starter also shows a markup of $0.015 per conversation. respond.io states "WhatsApp fees are not included in any respond.io subscription".

#How do you pick one in an afternoon?

Take your last month of WhatsApp work and price it three ways. Count the people who answer chats, the numbers you use and the template messages you send. Then read each vendor's page for the plan that fits.

Add the first-year cost of anything you would need as an add-on: a chatbot, an AI agent, extra seats. Then add Meta's charges once, because they are the same everywhere. See what a WhatsApp inbox costs and the shared inbox guide for the full method.

Chirpoo's trial is 14 days with every feature and needs no card, so one real week of chats fits inside it. Related reading: running a WhatsApp inbox with a team and multiple WhatsApp numbers in one inbox.

Frequently asked questions about Chirpoo and this topic

Which WhatsApp inbox tool is cheapest for a small team in India?

On published rupee prices checked 26 Oct 2026, Chirpoo is the lowest at ₹999 a month excluding GST, with five logins and one number included. AiSensy starts at ₹1,500 before its chatbot and AI add-ons, and Interakt, WATI and Gallabox start at ₹2,699 or more. DoubleTick does not publish prices.

Do these tools charge extra for WhatsApp messages?

Meta charges for delivered messages by category, and every tool passes that on in some form. Chirpoo adds nothing per message and Meta bills you directly. Gallabox's page says Meta's fees reach your invoice "with our markup", and Interakt and AiSensy list per-message rates above Meta's. WATI does not state who bills them, so ask before you buy.

How many team logins do I need?

Count everyone who answers chats, including owners and trainers. Chirpoo includes five logins and charges ₹250 a month for each extra one. WATI's Growth plan includes three and lists no additional users, so a fourth person means moving up a plan.

Does the inbox work on a phone?

Chirpoo can be installed on the phone as an app from the browser and sends push alerts. On iPhone, add it to the Home Screen first. For other tools, check the vendor's page for a mobile app.
